it's the small things that make it complicated, but if you know your general direction, that is a start!

2) You need to decide beforehand to find a way to take care of yourself financially. Eg: find a job, any job.
3) Proceed with divorce procedures with a lawyer.
4) If your husband threatens you some more, freakin call the cops on his ass and follow through with it. If you let him control you, then you deserve to be abused. Do not be at a place where he frequents. Get out of the house. You can't be in the same place he is in, when you're trying to get away from him.
5) While this is all happening, you can update the lover as to what's going on.
