writes:Hi All, Alright, so I had unprotected sex with my fiance. This happenned about 2 days beofre my period was due. It has now been 5 days since my period was due (7 days since having sex) My peiods have been pretty exact so I'm just a little concerned what might be the chances of being pregnant at the moment.I know the best idea is to wait and then take a pregnancy test but i would like to know from anybody who has a good deal of knowledge on the matter.Thanks for your help in advance.

reader, anonymous, writes (2 March 2008): Did you pay attention in sex ed? It sound like you could be pregnant so wait for a little bit then go get a test , talk to your fiance and decide your course of action - quicker you do this, the more options you have!

 well yes, this is the best thing to do. waiting one week after a missed period is the best thing to do to get an accurate result on a pregnancy test. there are two ways to get tested for pregnancy - urine tests, and blood tests. the latter needs to be done by a doctor. i think that you should take a pregnancy test, and visit your GP also. your GP will be able to make you feel more at ease about your situation. but you dont have to wait, its been almost a week so you can take the test. other than that, im not aware of any other methods to take for this. i hope this helps hun, if you want any more help just email me! xxx
