A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I am in love with my best friend's little brother. I am 23 and he is two and half years younger. I'm almost certain he feels the same way. This past weekend I went to a party with him. We acted like a couple and ended up making out. I have grown up with his family, and every time I'm with his family, they talk about how they would love for me to marry their son. But I don't know if that's just something they are saying. I have seen him as a little brother until recently, and I don't know who I should talk to first: the best friend or the brother. Or should I just let it go and see what happens? Right now, I am living far away, but I am moving home and will be three hours away from him. He is perfect for me, and I feel that we are a perfect match for each other. What do I do??

Bugs is right. Age is truly no consideration (within certain limits).

My wife is 6 years younger than me, but we clicked on our first meeting and the age difference was never an issue or even an afterthought. Besides, 2 and a half years is nothing.

Also, remember, if you don't try, you'll NEVER know!

If you guys "Click" in every way age difference is not a big deal. After all both of you are adults. You should talk to the brother first.Guys are complicated aliens at times. You think and you feel that he likes you.In the end he says something else.Once you are sure that the brother feels the same way that you do,talk to your best friend.

All the best.
