Question - (3 October 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 3 October 2010)
A female age , anonymous writes:

How can I figure out my husband? He is a good guy,I can;t imagine my life without him. But he is no longer sexual with me. He said he lost sexual interest, generally. Is there such a thing? |Well, this got to the point, that he never looks at me,or touches me? I wonder if all marriages are going to the same place,or this is unusual? He is losing his erection too, and Im not very excited anymore about sex. I feel, I would be ok,if I wouldn't have this fear, that one day,he will get back his sex-drive with an other woman. Its a big problem.26 YEARS ,children and life . I dont feel like throwing away, yet I can't see how can I live the next 30-40 without sex. He is healthy,no medical issues. So can a a man lose his sexual desire for no reason? Did you ever hear such a thing? How should I deal with this? What would you do?

JackieW0719 agony auntThere are several reasons that your husband could be suffering from a loss of libido. Erectile dysfunction, stress, performance anxiety, depression, certain medications, and low testosterone to name a few.

Low testosterone is more common than you would think and affects quite a few men, both young and older. In adulthood, low testosterone may lead to decreased sexual function and desire, infertility, and erectile dysfunction.
