Husband is a cheating liar that blew me off after surgery

This past summer I had knee surgery and was in bed for a long time (over a month). I just found out that just after my surgery, my husband of 3 years found his ex on facebook, started talking to her, and it turned sexual quickly. They never physically met as she lives over 1000 miles away, but they were texting, talking, chatting on facebook, you name it. He was calling her baby (that was my pet name), telling her horrible lies about me, saying how he missed her, sending pictures, etc. She was of course doing the same. It died off, but for 3 months that's about all he did. Now he claims it was just a joke and it turned into an ego boost, but I can't seem to forgive him. He says he wants to move forward but he's acting as if he did nothing wrong.
