We meet fairly regularly and very rarely send underwear pictures because we're both insecure/self-conscious, but now he's sent me a tasteful (for lack of a better word) nude, which he's never felt comfortable enough to do that before, and I want to be able to keep it but somewhere safe on my computer and iPhone.

This is kind of long, but worth a read:

Definitely make sure you don't upload it anywhere (cloud, etc) or email it to yourself to get it from your computer to your phone (or vice versa). Use a USB cable and transfer it that way. You do not want it anywhere online, even temporarily, because it's an easier target than physically gaining access to your device (although this is also possible if the person is tech savvy enough). Whatever folder or app you're keeping it in, lock that folder or app with a long, complex, RANDOM password.
For extra safety, future nudes taken by either of you preferably should not include identifiable views of your face. That way even if a device is stolen or an account compromised no one knows the naked person is him (or you). The best safety in this regard is anonymity.
Hope this helps. Best wishes!

There's many apps on iPhones that use secret folders. I believe there's an app that looks like a calculator and you type in a number and it actually goes into the storage.
Search for hidden folders app or something along those lines in the store.
