writes:Dear cupids, I am getting really upset about my acne, no girls like me because of it and it depresses me, I wash everyday and wash my face 3 times a day with soap and water, I don't want to use cream etc as I've tried them already, I just ant to know if its possible to get rid of acne with soap and water?  If you have acne then you will need special cleansers..I'm not sure what they have in Italy, but hit the drugstore and go over to your Face care aisle and start looking for acne care products. They will say it right on it, for guys they use Clearisil, Phisoderm, Oxy, and Stridex. Try any of those to see what works for your skin, not everyone's acne is similar...I noticed products with active ingredients like benzoyl peroxide work the best. Have a regular skin regimen cleanse (acne face wash), toner, moisturize(use a moisturizer that says oil free) at least twice a day and exfoliate( with a face scrub, it will say exfoliant on it) at least once a week. If you see no results in a month from any of those products then it's best to seek a dermatologist who can prescribe the prescription stuff which works like magic. In fact, I'm 25 and used every acne product known to man and none of it worked for me so I'm turning to the specialist for help. Best of luck, but like I said it's trial and error to see what is best for you.

 its true, creams and all that rubbish dont work; but i'v been using a wierd combination of things that REALLY dont give you any such luck. However...
i recommend Garnier Skin Naturals 'Pure Active'.
all you have to do is wet your face with close to hot water (thats how it works :S) which open your pores, then massage this cream on your face and leave it on for 10mins. wash it off (again with close to hot water :S) and then when its all off wet your face with cold water to close all pores.
after that use sudocream on really bad areas.
the next day your face should feel as smooth as a baby's bum. (3
after a week of daily apply, trust me, results are promising.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 September 2010): before you go to sleep at night wash your face with your face wash and then put just a bit of tootpast on your spots! i know it sound werid but it works... not only does it clear the redness up it gets rid of them aswell.. might take a few goes but it worked for me.. my nan told me an ive always done it now... good luck xx

I have acne and honestly there is no quick cure to it, no matter how much you wash your face it won't go, but you should wash your face twice a day, but not too much because you don't want to strip the natural oils from your skin, if it is very bad you should go to your GP, they will give you antibiotics which should help! also if you have bad scarring lemons are a natural bleach and should help them fade, anyway good luck, I hope it gets better!
