 don't appear desperate, wear nice clothes so you don't give off the wrong signals, don't get drunk or high when you go out, go to nice places, not rough bars, see if your friends know anyone that they would recommend, rather than picking up strangers, never sleep with a guy too soon - especially because they say they love you and push for sex and commitment too soon. always look good when you go out, i do not mean fake looking and wearing loads of make up,be friendly to men, smile, ask your friends for their honest opinion on what they think you might be doing wrong. keep your wits about you and your feet on the ground when you meet a man, so you can notice red flags before the relationship develops too far, don't be used, judge a man on his behaviour more than his words.

 First of all, you shouldn't rush. Wait a bit if you like. The guys i know don't like it when girls break up w/ their boyfriends then go straight to them. Hope this helps a bit.
