I mean no good mass over my bones and muscle stuff. so I feel I am underweight. I want to put on the required weight so that I can turn it into handsome muscles. I dont want to be body builder, just I want to look attractive. Thats all. Can you suggest me what kind of food is good for my perpose. My diet is shrinking too. I guess this becasue of the smoking. For my obsession I can quit smoking anytime. My question is, at this age can I still put on and __________________________________________________convert into normal sufficient muscles or not. My husband used to be a bodybuilder, then stopped and got really thin again. He has just started to put weight back on through diet, it's not for the faint hearted and I couldn't stick to it, but here it is:
Breakfast 06.00
6 egg whites and 1 egg yolk scrambled on 2 pieces wholemeal taost, 1 bowl porridge.
Snack 09.00
Protein shake or protein bar - you can buy in health food shops for vegans if you don't want the bodybuilding ones.
Lunch 12.00
Sweet potato jacket with 1 tin of tuna
Snack 15.00
Protein shake of bar
Dinner 18.00
2/3 grilled chicked breasts (or any lean meat) with vegetables and rice or pasta for carbs.
Snack 09.00
6 egg whites and 1 egg yolk scrambled. No carbs!!
He eats this every day!! By eating this and excercising with heavy weights 3 times a week he put on 8 lb in 2 weeks - but he said that it was slower the first time he started body building. He does give himself one day a week where he will swap the healthy dinner for pizza or burgers or something he loves but says NEVER skip a meal. (oh and he also smokes, but only 10 a day).
Good luck and let us know how you get on.

If you can cut down or give up smoking that will help your appetite, Also going to a gym and working out a exercise program for you will help build muscle, You need to consume more calories everyday, Plus calorie drinks in a milkshake form in between meals should make a difference,
