How should my friend answer him?

Question - (22 June 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 23 June 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

This boy I went out with last year started talking to me a again a couple of months ago when I started going out with this other guy. He had a girlfriend at the time, but he seemed kind of jealous that I had a new boyfriend and kept asking me about him. He broke up with his girlfriend and things weren't going too great in my relationship, so the week after he ended his relationship i ended mine. It had nothing to do with my ex, but possibly to do with another guy.

Anyway, my ex kept asking why I broke up with my boyfriend and even asked if it was because I liked him in a jokey way. But for the past week or so he has been ignoring me. But, this conversation (roughly) happened between him and my friend.

Friend: so you like her, just admit it

ex: does she like me?

Friend: I don't know, but you like her

ex: well find out if she does then ill tell you

Friend: so you might ask her out

ex: if she does like me, maybe..

my friend is pretty sure that he likes me and a few other friends think he might aswell.

now my friend is bugging me for an answer but its not just a simple yes or no, me and this guy havn't had a proper conversation for a while and although I am pretty sure I like him, I don't know if I want a relationship right now because of personal reasons.

What should I tell my friend to give him as an answer?

Tell your friend to say she hasn't asked you yet, to give you a little time to chat with this guy and get your feelings together.

Then when you think you know what you want, tell your friend what it is you want to say, or even say it to this guy yourself? Either way, do whatever will make you happy, and explain to the guy how you're feeling :)

Good Luck x
