A friend hooked us up after she found out we had been liking each other for about 3 months. We are the same age We REALLY like each other, and everyone comments on how great we are. The problem is i am very shy and she is very outgoing. Just recently did i start hugging her a lot, and ive only held her hand once. She always wears my lettermans jacket. Recently she has been sighing and resting her head on my shoulder. I am not sure how to respond to this, or am i sure how to respond when she jokingly pokes me and stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You need to show her some affection, shy as you are... you need to get used to the fact she actually likes you.
Most shy people are only shy because they fear rejection, and since that is a long shot at this point... just be affectionate. You know rub her hair, give her a kiss here and there and if it comes to it, make out.
She feels comfortable with you, so its high time you did the same.
