 Take it slow! Nothing is wrong with a closed mouth kiss, and if you try kissing like Paris Hilton on your first time, you'll end up looking like a fool!
Notoriously, first kisses are sloppy, wet, and can involve some teeth-banging. I know it sounds cliche, but some of my best kisses are when the two of you are in your own "moment" and you just bend towards each other. And then it happens. Let your lips do the work, not the tongue. If he comes in for a kiss and seems to have more experience, AND you feel comfortable, then follow his lead and let your tongue movements copy his. Kissing takes some practice, which is fun, but if you two are just starting to like each other, then I would keep things sweet and simple.
