I feel really stupid but I REALLY enjoy speaking to this guy. Shall I suggest that we meet up? - its not like he isn't who he says he is or anything because I've spoken to him and seen photos of him and stuff . What can I do?????????

it is not unheard of to like someone that you have spoken to online - i met my husband online, i was very lucky that he turned out to be everything i thought he was...however you are still very young and while he may well be everything you think that he is, you should be EXTREMELY careful when thinking about meeting this guy - if you really have to meet him, i know it sounds harsh, but make sure you take someone along with you, tell your parents where you are going and make sure you meet in a very public place and do not go off alone with him. have fun being friends with this lad online, and please be safe xx

You can like him in the same way you like an actor off the TV. You think you know him, you've imagined him and you together, you've made him into someone who you could fall in love with.
Unfortunately the fact is that you DON'T know him. You only know the carefully edited things he has chosen to type out and hit enter to send.
It's Always dangerous to meet someone off the internet. Follow all the rules if you do including meeting him with friends in a public place and then STAYING in that public place to talk to him with your friends around you.
You may meet him and feel absolutely nothing. You may meet him and think he's great and then after a few days you'll realise he has REALLY annoying habits and yo don't like him. You may meet him and it might be wonderful.
Keep a very open mind and remember you may have made him into something he is not really.
Good Luck!! xx
