How should I handle this situation? My parents would never agree to me going out with this senior

Question - (11 August 2013) 2 Answers - (Newest, 12 August 2013)
A female United States age 22-25, anonymous writes:

There is a guy who is a senior and I am a freshman. (in high school)

He is very sweet and isn't a perv who just wants to take advantage of me.

He is very caring. I think he likes me because we have tennis together after school and he is always flirting and interested in what I have to say.

We also have art together and talks to me sometimes too. What should I do? My parents would never let me go out with a senior. Does he even like me? Should I ask him out? What should I do? Please help!!

So_Very_Confused agony auntYou are a freshman that means 8th grade that means 14/15

a senior is 17/18 thats nearly 4 years difference in age which after age 21 is not much but at 14/18 it's HUGE

I know you don't understand why your parents don't want you going out with a senior but I do.

IF you really want to pursue a friendship with him, the boundaries have to be that you two spend time together ONLY at your home and only in open areas and ONLY when your parents are present. there can be no physical contact or talk of sexual things.

Pretend it's 1900 and he wants to court you.... it has to be like that... would you still want to do it that way?
