How should I go about our "relationship" now, as clearly my flirting was misinterpreted...

A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

So theres this girl at work that I really like. The signs were there, she smiled when I was around, laughed at my jokes and when I teased her, gave me random hugs sometimes, texts me a lot, even her friends said we were 'cute' together, everything was good. So, one day she jokingly said we should go see a movie, I took her up on it and asked her to see a movie with me, she said yes.

So we went, however I wasn't sure if it was a date or not. I dressed up nice but brought along clothes that were normal in case she didn't dress up. She didn't, so i changed in the car before she saw me.

I payed for her movie but then it was just like we were friends. We didn't touch, hold hands or anything, no kiss at the end either, just a hug. However she said she had a lot of fun, it wasn't awkward in any way.

So what now, she seemed like she was very interested but now it seems like she sees me as a good friend. We work together and I see her almost every day, how should I go about our relationship now, as clearly my flirting was misinterpreted...

What should I do in general, any advice for this situation? Thanks!
