How should I ask him to the dance? Any ideas or tips?

So i'm a fifteen year old girl and there's this guy in my grade, Dylan, and i've liked him since 6th grade. well, we're really good friends and we talk alot. the sweethears dance is coming up and i really want to go with him. but how do i go about getting either him to ask me or how should i ask him? any advice at all you can give me on this situation is welcome. thanks in advance!

If you're to afraid of rejection to just come out and ask him, you can always ask for him to be your date "as a friend," even if you want something more. Then if he says no, there's no un-comfortableness.

But... if you really think he likes you, I say just go for it. Situations are never as awkward or bad as you think they are. I think the mind set is everything. Commit to a decision and go for it 100%.

sweetiegirl agony auntJust ask him if he has a date yet and if he says no then ask him if he would like to go, prepare for if he says no ( which i hope he doesn't say ) say ok that's cool, i was just wondering so it would save us both time on trying to find a date, or something along that lines just be yourself and it will hopefully work out for you.

Or just come out and ask him if he wants to go with you. the worst he'll say is no then move on and find another guy to go with and that other guy will regret not saying no to you ok
