 Being picky isn't a bad thing. Why should you have to be with just anyone just for the sake of having a boyfriend? When I was single I used to think I'd never meet anyone because my standards were too high, my friends would even tell me the same thing! When I finally did meet my partner he was nothing like the mental checklist I'd made so it just goes to show that when someone special comes along you just know and even if they weren't what you were looking for it doesn't really matter. Keep your standards high, it shows self respect and that means others will respect you to.

 After reading some of the letters on here it's good that you are picky. My mother used to always say 'anyone can have sex'. But let's face it a few years down the line what kind of a life do we have. You be as picky as you like, at least when you do decide who you want, he will be a very lucky man. My father re married on his 64th Birthday, that made me think (as i was divorced at the time).. Well it's never too late to find someone. I'm not saying you will have to wait for years but by being picky at least you are not selling yourself short. Good Luck!
