Tisha-1 agony auntDid you try talking to him about it?

"Dave, I would like to enjoy my time at the gym with you. I do not respond well to your approach of being tough and mean at the gym and it is putting me off going there with you. I'd like to discuss how we can find a way to work out together without it being such a dismal experience for me. Either you lighten up on this or I will have to find another place to work out without you."
