I'm quite new to sexual stuff too and when me and my boyfriend started doing things, I just trimmed it a little(my own choice) and he's never complained or told me to do anything different :) Just do what you feel comfortable doing and don't worry too much about what he thinks. :)Shaving is painful anyways :PGood Luck ^_^

i agree with odds and caring guy, just ask him. I know that stuff like this can be embarrassing at the start, when you have become real lovers but its something your going to have to over come. The only way your going to truly satisfy your guy in anything is to ask him what he likes, its the best way. with shaving you should always shave with the grain of your hair, for example if your hair grows downwards you shave downwards. After the first couple of times youll be itchy and a little sore but after a while your skin gets used to it and it only becomes itchy if you dont shave for a few days.

I would agree with Odds - if this is something you can't discuss with your boyfriend, then you need to ask whether you're ready for sex.
Men aren't all the same, and your boyfriend will know what he wants. So speak to him.

Look, here's the more important issue. If you're not comfortable enough to talk to your boyfriend about your pubes, you're not mature enough to be having sex. Would you avoid discussion contraception just because it's embarrassing?
Ask him. Some guys like that completely-shaved look, some like a landing strip, some like au natural bush. There's no way to tell without asking - even if you were to check his porn history (maybe he likes it shaved, but will put up with bush for a hot enough porn starlet).
