It depends on how turned on you are or how much foreplay you have had or the enviroment.
there really isnt a typical time to go on, it really depends on you, if your worried that your not lasting long enough then here are a few things to try to help you:
1. think about what you have to do the next day whilst having sex, but dont lose intrest in your partner!.
2. think about an unattractive women
3. if you feel that you might be working up to an orgasm, then stop moving and just be still for a while and if you can get away with it pull out of your partner, and concentrate on them for a little bit.
4. and if all else fails try alot of foreplay the more foreplay us ladies have the more lubricated we become, and this can make it less sensitive for the man so you should last longer.
Ok Good luck , if you want anymore advice then feel free to ask.
xx

Yos pretty much has it covered, but i figure ill give advice from a female perspective. If you feel you are too quick, definitely invest in lots of foreplay, and i don't mean for you, because that will only make you go quicker. Try and please her orally or manually for a good bit before intercourse. I would say intercourse in my case is good when it's between 10-30 minutes. Anything after 30 minutes becomes dreadfully boring. Men have it in their pretty little heads that longer is better. I'd much prefer 10 minutes to half an hour to be honest, because I usually orgasm in about 10 minutes anyway. If you have a problem of going too slow try other positions... I know my beau can only go a few minutes when it's doggy style there is just something about it that makes him cum quickly. The real feat is to try and cum as close as possible together. There is no better feeling when you both cum together it's phenomenal....so shoot for that!

There is no right answer to this. Sex itself can be a 'quickie' over in a couple of minutes, or it can be a whole day spend lazily exploring each other.
However, once intercourse starts (which is only a small part of sex), there can be problems if you are 'too quick' or 'too slow'.
'Too quick' is subjective based on circumstances, but if you come in less than a few minutes your partner might find this unsatisfying. According to various medical studies, most men climax within 5 minutes of starting intercourse, so 'too quick' probably has to be really quick.
'Too long' is also possible, although less common. Some men struggle to climax and can end up going for hours either not coming, or only coming after a great deal of effort. Whilst this might sound like fun, it quickly gets wearing for both partners and can cause many problems.
In either situation, there are exercises that you can use to get to a solution.
