hi, i've just found out that i'm pregnant, i've done 3 home tests and they were all positive, i don't feel like i'm ready for a baby at the moment even tho i'm 25, i've only been with my boyfriend for just over 3 months but i know he'll stand by whatever decision i make, it wasn't even as if we weren't being careful we were using condoms and had one split but it was just after my last period so i wasn't concerned, (how stupid of me)i could only be just over a month at most, i've decided that a termination is the best option for me and was just wondering how long it's going to take from start to finish?, i'm going to see the doctor on tuesday.

Hi, it doesnt take long, (2 weeks from seeing doctor in my case) but you need to have 2 doctors consent if you go through the NHS that is. I had a termination almost 9 years ago after the morning after pill failed to work and as i was 6 weeks pregnant i was able to take a couple of pills, I had to be in hospital for about 8 hours. It is a pretty awful experience and I would recommend taking some councilling afterwards as I felt alot of guilt however saying that I still do not regret it. Good luck.
