I'm really rather embarrassed by it and don't want to tell me mom or go to the doctors.. Is there anything I can do? Or do I have to seek help of some one else? By the way I'm 15 years old.. If that makes the advice any different I'm not sure.. Thank you for you help in advance (: Reply to this Question Share |

Thrush in the mouth? Easy! Have the doctor give you a prescription for mycelex trouche, if he or she feels that's what you need. You chew a pill that tastes like sweet chalk 4x per day, and voila!

Every girl gets thrush at some point, its natural.
You need to just go to the supermarket or chemist and just pick up some thrush cream. I believe there are some pills that you can take too. The only one I can think of from the top of my head is Canosten Duo. Thats a cream and a pill. You apply the cream to thee area and take the pill with water and you'll be back to normal in a week :)
IF you told your mother, she wouldn't laugh, it happens to all girls. Don't be too frightened :)

It isnt related to sex but if you have a partner it can be passed on. Google the Canesten site and see how your symptoms compare to those of thrush. If thats what you have, canesten is on the shelves of all chemists like Boots. I saw a lady doctor about it myself last year. She told me to not to use soap products and perfumed sprays around the intimate area. Just regularly cleanse with water, dry well and wear cotton underwear. It has worked for me. If you try the above product and things dont improve then do talk to your mum or visit the doctor for a check up. Theres nothing to be embarrassed about x
