I have had several relationships, none of them working for very long. What helps make a good relationship continue? And how do you make LDRs work? In general those have been the quickest to fail for me. I really want this to work out with this guy. Thanks for your help!

A female reader, Wonder1 United Kingdom +, writes (29 December 2009):

Well you are aged between 13-15 firstly! Relationships at this age tend not to last past a few months if lucky just because your still growing up, and the only 'guys' you tend to be around are from school or your street. When you leave school and venture into work and night life etc, you meet a whole new array of guys. And this is when you will realise what you have been missing out on. I know you probably hate being told that your too young at the moment, but its true, you should be out with your friends, enjoying being young, enjoying school etc, coz when you grow up, you gotta face the bigger (less fun) things in life!

Also i have an LDR, i live in the UK and he lives in California, we've been together over a year now and we fly back and forth every 2/3 months, its hard but if you love each other you'll do everything in your power to make it work!
