I felt like the only thing I could do to get his attention was to lash out at him when I was mad. I didn't cheat on him, I felt like he always put me on the back burning when it came to me. It's been a total mess and a hard breakup for the both of us. I seen him and he told me that he has started back smoking. He also told me that he still had feelings for me and he missed me. When he stares at me does that mean that he don't know what to say when he sees me? When he calls should I answer? What should I say to him when he comes up to me? How do you know when a man wants you back when he comes around you even if he don't ask you back? Should I ask him to tell me how he really feels?

Why not you just tell him to start all over again on a new slate and progress from there.
Let go of the past and begin anew.
It is obvious that he wants to come back to you ,
otherwise he would not contact you at all.
