I'm only wondering this because I do go out on my bike and horse often, but havent ever actually had sex and i dont plan to for a while, until i know im ready, so I just wanted to know if maybe it could already have broken? I have also suffered lots of falls, and i heard that can break it as well.So is there any way to tell if it has been broken or not? Thanks to any one who answers my question :)

I was a bit of a tomboy when I was a kid so it could have gone at any time and I wasn't aware!

can you use tampons?
have you ever inserted your fingers into your vagina?
both are pretty reliable indicators that your hymen is broken or shredded.
you also could sit with a mirror and look....

Only with a pelvis exam. If it's that important to you then schedule an appointment with your doctor.
