writes:i was wondering...how do you know when a guy is really in love with you?how do you know when a guy is coming after a girl,just to show to his guy friends that he is cool enough to make her his girl friend?how can you know if he really likes you or just wants to proove to his guy friend that he is cool as well?and if he ignores you for a kinda long time,but still shoes some signs that he likes you,and it's not the first time when he does it,does it mean he is not interested anymore?even if he has deep feelings for you,is he trying to hide them,because he has no idea what to tell you and is afraid to not get hurt?please answer,i really do need to know. 4ever in love is verified as being by the original poster of the question thanks for your answer!yes,it's someone i like for one year.the problem is in the last few days i gave him all the signals that i'm really not intetrested anymore.i mean,for e.g.,when he was looking at me,or appeared near me,i always looked down or in the opposite direction.3 days ago,when i and my best friend were getting out of school,he was already outside with his best friend,he saw me,greeted me silently and i didn't really hear him,so i went on like nothing happened and my friend greeted him.then he immediately threw a snowball towards my direction(it snowed here),turned with his back at me and returned to his friend.i dunno if he was mad at me or just wanted to get my attention.and today i saw him,he turned and looked at me,but again,i was looking at the floor.what do you think?am i confusing him?what should i do?can you help me?

Any of the scenarios you suggested could be the case, but I think maybe trusting your gut instinct may help - you normally 'know' whe a guy likes you deep down, and he may hold back for a million reasons ( lack of confidence, fear of being hurt,...)
In my experience guys I have felt liked me have played games like ignoring me etc, this often does not mean he does not like you, but has his own reasons for not showing his feelings to the world.
Maybe he is not ready for a relationship, or does not know how to have a relationship just yet.
Is this someone you really like? ?You did not say wether you have feelings for him, but I'm guessing you do??
