writes:how do you get close to someone? i'm talking about someone you have feelings for. me and my ex were really close. it took a while and we went through a lot and then we finally ended up being so close that we just went out. but that's over with. i'm just giving an example. anyways i like this boy and i'm shy with him. i'm never shy unless i don't know someone. but i've known him for about 4 years. he likes me also so it's all good. but i just don't know how to get close to him. it's silent sometimes and i hate it,.. i just want it to be perfect with him. i can't get close to him the same way as i did with my ex because it involved hating each other and stuff. and i just feel like i can't get close with anyone else.. (me and my ex are still close) i know its possible but does anyone have anything to help me?

Just talk to him! Get to know him, ask him questions and find out how he thinks.
If it goes quiet then just ask him a question about something - anything?
