I told my husband I loved him first. It was by accident when we were having a cuddle. It was horrifying as there was (what seemed like) a huge silence and then he said it back and everything was wonderful.
Don't say it during sex, there are whole songs about how that is meaningless.
You can either gamble and wait for him to say it. But you could grow old while waiting. Or you can take a leap of faith and say it first.
Slip it in when saying goodbye or something as then you can run off or pretend you did it by accident if it all goes horribly wrong.
Good Luck!! xx

one cant get a guy to say those words.. it will happen when its time. i agree with older sis. wait for him to say it. so u dont end up looking the fool if he looks at u and says he does not love u like that.

i'm a unique breed in that i speak my mind, and i say unique breed, b/c the average man will keep everything closer to the chest.
DO NOT say it during intercourse, b/c then he will feel forced to reply with the "i love you too" b/c its the moment.
You might want to try talking to him about you two as an item in the future and see how he sees you two some time from now.
Does he ever sound liek he wants to say it, but will stop himself?
