I think what you need to do is to ask him to join in. perhaps you could ask him to show you what he likes and how he likes to do it. Maybe you could ask him to play with himself while you watch and you can then learn from that. There is no right or wrong way to pleasure someone as evryone likes things done differently. Part of the fun of being in a sexual relationshiip is finding out what really turns each other on. It can sometimes be hard to ask someone to do something sexual to someone differently to the way they are doing it as you don't want to hurt the person that you care for feelings.
