How do you break up with someone that you like but realized you don't love?

I kinda thought I loved him but I am getting really bored with this relationship and don't want him to get too attached to me if he isn't already if I don't think we will last. We have been dating for six weeks but it seems more like 4 months.

I don't want to hurt him because I still really like him just it seems there is no connection. We don't have two things in common other than the regular factors...

I can't just tell him this because he told me randomly that "I don't want to lose you. I want this to work. I like you a lot."

I just feel so bad that it wasn't better..

it's too boring!

please help me!

If your sure he's not the one tell him straight your feelings for him have changed. It will hurt him for a short time but the longer you leave it the worse it will be, for both of you. try not to fall into the trap of sayng "its not you its me" or "we can still be friends".Dont text or call for a couple of weeks.Give him space and time to get over.

Dont feel bad this didnt work out you gave it a try now walk on "bye"
