But it sounds like you are going into a relationship with an unequal power arrangement.... he's telling you he wants to wait, your are mooning about attracting him.

 Just be yourself, he sounds like a reasonable and sensible guy for waiting until you are 18. So just be yourself and get to know him slowely dont rush in to sex to quick, make him wait a while. Good Luck.

 It's not really any different then any other guy. It really just depends on the guy and what he likes and who he is. If your friends with him you know what he likes. Just Trust yourself if he likes you it will work if he does not like you nothing will happen. If he is really waiting he is interested in you, and he wants something with you.
