reader, anonymous, writes (20 May 2009): Having enjoyed the swing lifestyle for the past few years, first, I recommend a swingers club. You can Google "swingers clubs" and find lots of sites that'll help you out there. You should be able to search by city or zip. We belong to a great club that tours all new members and makes sure they're comfortable before they let them loose. We are a "host couple" at our fav club, meaning that we give tours to new members. It's a BYOB club much like any night club, except that there are private rooms in the back where people can play on premise.
There are also off-premise clubs where you can meet like-minded people and then make plans to play elsewhere. We don't care for them as much, as we really like the environment and feel safe at our on-premise club, but many people enjoy that environment as well.
You can also join one of the many web sites for swingers, create a profile, and much like a regular dating site, hook up with others that have similar interest.

Unless you're willing to come completely out of the closet and have your friends, family, and business associates know that you're into the lifestyle, however, you should be careful as far as posting photos and/or too much personal information.
Of course, it should go without saying that you should always proceed with caution when meeting new people. Again, I advocate meeting at a known swingers club.
