writes:Well this is a rather awkward and confusing situation.Basically, i need to know how to tell if a guy likes me.Heres the story:I've recently broken up with boyfriend because it just wasn't working out and to be quite honest, i wasn't particularly affected by it.I've recently started taking lessons with an older guy. I've only had a couple, but i know that i really like him. He is very friendly towards me during the lesson, but he does not say 'hi' outside them.He appears interested in what i say, smiles a lot and is overall, very friendly. Although i'm not sure whether this is part of his nature.And another question. As he is a few years older than me, i tend to worry whether he sees me as a little girl or not.  hi there, its his job to be friendly and polite and nice, and its your job to have crushes, i did when i was at school, but nothing can happen, so just be nice back and think that he is like that with all his pupils, if you try to take it further you wont be able to have lessons with him, sorry if this isnt the answer you want to hear but im afraid its probably right.

reader, anonymous, writes (12 June 2008): I do not really have enough info to comment, but if you are with him for lessons; Vow, it sounds like dangerous ground, please do not see more into this guy, then merely, as a teacher or instructor.
Should he do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable advise your parents.
