I'm just 20 and my girl is also 20 and we are going to get engaged..my girl's parents got to know about the relationship and asked me to break up... I'm not in a situation to break up.. If you cannot find the courage/wisdom to tell your parents about such an event, that in itself tells me you are in no way mature enough to be considering marriage.
