I don't tell my family I talk to people on the net because I believe it would be frowned upon. I'm close to my mum but I have been messaging a girl from the net I want to meet. She is 100% genuine but I really want to tell my mum but for some reason I just can't get the words out to say "I've been messaging someone online and going to meet". I know many will point out that im 22!haha my life I know but in the past these things have caused atmospheres and I play for the simple life but that means I miss out as I don't want to put noses out of joint if you get me. I guess I should get a backbone and do what I want?

montuiiri is verified as being by the original poster of the question thanks for them replies, yes i agree i am 22 and dont have to say anything to my mum but i have a close relationship with family and dont just walk out the house and go off to do whatever i want. anyway i have sorted it now. everything went cooly! i am meeting her within a few days!haha. cheers everyone!

 If you are 22, then you do not have to tell her ANYTHING.
IF this is a problem, then the solution is to fix THIS, so that things that should not be a problem will not be a problem.
Are you still living with your mom? HAve you looked into being independant?
