hey, be honest with her let her know that just because you like men aswell doesn't change the way you feel about her and for you to have an honest and open relationship you thought she needed to know. i'm gay, but i used to think i was bi and found that sometimes because you like both people assume you will cheat, because you want the other sex, reassure your girlfriend that that isn't the case. Cheats are cheats regardless of sexuality.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 August 2008): I think that if that's how you really feel then she should appreciate your honesty and understand how you feel. Just a question, if you prefer men then how come you still want to be with her? Unless you do like her in which case you just need to tell her that and she shouldn't break up with, and if she breaks up with you just because you're bi then she definitely isn't very understanding and I'm sure you could find someone who is.
Just a note, I know this is said a lot, but you are 13 and I know you can often know your sexuality from a young age, but just in case you are wrong I wouldn't go telling everyone about it, because sometimes people react badly and puberty can change a lot of things physically and emotionally.
