I see my mom a couple of times a year but we are not close at all. My dad has been amazing and we are very close but sex and dating have been an awkward subject for us. I have been dating my boyfriend for a year and my dad likes him. I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning and it was positive. My period was 10 days late. What is the best way to tell him? I know that there really isn't a good way to tell him and that regardless of how I do it that he will be upset. Thanks in advance !

Leave the boyfriend out of it, he can talk to him later.

Feelingscared is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThanks, I plan on telling him tomorrow after school. His hours on Tuesday have us not seeing each other and I didn't want to tell him over the phone while he was at work.
Do you think it would be better for me to tell him alone or with my boy friend. My boyfriend said he would be here when I tell if I wanted him too but I feel like it should be something that I tell him when it's just us.

Just be honest with him, he deserves that much. Keep in mind that much of the responsibility of raising the baby will be his, so don't be surprised or offended if he's not happy. Eventually he will be when the little rugrat is running around.

No matter what his reaction, it'll be more of concern as you're still very young and a child is a big responsibility for anyone, just don't argue with him if he flips and remember that he says and does what he does because he cares for you. Be gentle and remember this is a massive shock that is little girl is pregnant.
Good luck.
