writes: I need some help i cant stop thinking about my cousin as a girlfriend not as family i think she feels the same way because she says she loves me on the phone and in person but the thing is im three years older than her and we don't see each other that much. when i do were never alone so i always have to compete for her attention with my other female cousin because she hates me for some reason and there also like sisters and spend almost every weekend together. so i hardly ever see her so i need to know how to get her alone to tell her i like her so i can see if she feels the same way so please help me out. thanks.

Oh wow. Listen closely. You're from the United States, and individual states have laws regarding first cousins. Here's a link to a list of states and their laws regarding them:

If you're in a state that has a law against first cousins, you'll have to keep your relationship a secret, as it might fall under incest laws, and you don't want that!
