A female Cayman Islands age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I hate this man I'm seeing. He lied to me once, now twice. LDR...I'm visiting him now and just want to leave. Today, I told him I wasnt speaking to him, he left to go to store or whatever and hasn't been back since...its been three hours. I dont want to call him and see whats up...But anyway, I'm wondering how to just tell him I don't want to ever speak with him again after this. This liar just cheats and cheats and tried to use me. I hate him like crazy. But, right now, I'm at his mercy. He paid for me to come see him...I cant get back without him. Help me please.

Get out and get home. Have someone call and make a story- your grandmother is ill... whatever and get out.

Well you know this already but if you feel unsafe call the police at once. I'd say just go. If you think you need to speak to him about this, then do call him back but try to have the conversation on neutral ground. Am assuming you've travelled a long way to see this guy - can you get a hotel room nearby?

And are you really at his mercy? Do you say that just because he paid for you? Nobody can be kept against their wishes - it's as good as kidnap! if you want to go, you go. Do what feels right. Just because he paid for you doesn't mean you have to stay if things turn sour. He's cheated and he's a liar, he does not deserve your concern. Good luck. x
