reader, anonymous, writes (19 September 2009): Be wary of online relationships. You need to be sure to begin with that she's real and not coming over as something she's not. So take care if you've never met. If you're the shy type then warm up the conversation before getting personal. Don't jump straight into it otherwise it'll be awkward. Prepare her for it. Drop hints as that could help you find out how she feels. Then when you feel comfortable in the conversation, tell her. Don't mess about too much. That would put her off.I would really advise you to be careful though. Online relationships can be very dodgy. Don't do anything if you're in doubt.Good Luck. X
