writes: i have been friend with a girl for over a year now. when we started chatting and talking we made it clear that we will only be friends and i was okay with it because it is certain that we cant marry so there is no point in having a relationship, so we were happy as friends, so she told me that i should never think of us more than friends and i said ok.now we talked on the phone almost everyday for an year , we chat everyday but problem is that my feelings for her has grown stronger .she is becoming more than a friend and it hurts me. i cant tell her that i have these feelings because it will make her angry and dissapointed and she will never talk to me again and even there is no point telling her since we cant get together anyhow. now how do i stop these feelings, now whenever i talk to her . feelings grow and i get hurt because i know she doesnt share the same . i cant even leave her because what would i tell her why am i doing it? and i also dont want to stop talking to her so how do i keep talking to her and at the same time stop these feelings Reply to this Question Share |

reader, anonymous, writes (24 October 2014): i suggest you take up a hobby to meet new people and spend less time talking to your friend if she wonders why you wont talk so much you tell her you have taken up a new hobby if she really wants you she will make more effort to seeing/talking to you if not then keep your distance theres a whole big world out there
