I also lust after him, and most recently I've been having fantasies of him and me. I know it's wrong, and it would never work out, but these feelings just aren't going to go away on their own. I love him not only for physical aspects, but for his sense of humor, personality, maturity, and for how masculine he is to me. We are very similar in how we act and speak, and it's amazing when I think of what could happen. I want to get over him, but that one part of my mind isn't letting me, since it just wants to hold on to the thought that it could possibly happen, even though common sense rules it out. My question is pretty much, is this normal, and how can I get over this without hurting? Also, why is it that the one part of my mind can't seem to get over him?

Yes it's normal plenty of people have had crushes on their teachers. Keep foremost in your mind that fact that this will NEVER go anywhere with him. He is happy with his life and it doesn't include you. You really can't get over this without some hurt I'm afraid but know that you will be ok. Keep trying to focus your energy elsewhere. Whenever you find yourself thinking of him actively make yourself think about something else. Eventually you will realise that you don't think about him so often.
