I tried reading her a happy story before bed time, i tried keeping the light on and sitting with her for a while. and im out of ideas now! Reply to this Question Share |

So your little one goes off to sleep and then wakes up later in the evening with these nightmares love? Is she asleep long? And when she wakes is she herself does she seem at all confused or is she just frightened,
Some children get night fears where they are not actually awake it just appears they are they can talk and walk around but their faces are very vacant...
Has anything happened to start this off, I used to lie with my little one as he went to sleep I put some really relaxing music enya or simular and after around a few weeks he calmed and slowly as I didnt want him to rely on me lying with him for to long I would just put the music on and leave the room he would drift off with no night fears as that what problem he had... A bath and being really relaxed before bed and routine bedtimes are important and its vital to have a rest down period before bed, some kiddies are bouncing all over the place and then jump into bed and of course there minds are still playing.
I hope things are going to get better for you both love if you are really worried get an ap with your G.P to pop your mind at rest. HOPE THIS HELPS TAKE CARE LOTS OF LOVE MANDY
