writes:Hi everyone,Im 19 yrs old. I want to start a new life,with no controversies basically a peaceful life. Uptil now my life has been like a big circus. Sexual abuse by cousin, Boyfriends, bad friends, good friends, crushes,family issues,college issues. Basically all the problem put together. And I really dont think I can stop them unless I start over new. My past had even affected my current relationship. I feel so sick of my past and my guy's taunts kill me, I keep cutting myself so as to stop this pain.I really am clueless how to start over . . . . please help meI dont have any friends. My college life is lonely and ppl in my college see me like a low life, caz everyone else comes from really high class, and i'm not that rich. People are rude and i feel so lonely. I dont like hurting anyone and being rude.

 Wealth isnt everything, trust me.
People should be there for you whether you're rich or poor.
I don't know what you could do if your boyfriend leaves you, just try to keep the relationship going as well as possible.
And try to make new friends no matter what.

Don't cut yourself over it, it is not worth it at all.
Just go with the flow and act like you don't care what people say or think about you.
You deserve to be just as happy as anyone else.
Go independant if you want, who cares?
It's your life and live it how YOU want.

reader, anonymous, writes (31 July 2009): Wealth has nothing to do with good manners or respectability and certainly does not make someone a better human being, so I thought I'd get that out of the way first!
You're in the same college as these rich people so I'm assuming you're no less intelligent than them, and I don't see any reason for them to look down on you or for you to look up to them.
If your guy taunts you get rid of him! You don't need that. Cutting yourself will not solve anything. It might be seen as a cry for help but it could get dangerous and who wants to see a woman with scars on her arms?
Once you've finished college and have some decent qualifications under your belt, the world will be your oyster. You can't do anything about the past except forget it, but you CAN shape your future. Your future is in your hands, no-one else's, so make the most of it.
