I met her first time on 15th February and met her thrice in person. Did touch her a bit and made my little moves. the problem is she has a best friend who always clings with her, no matter what. I tried hinting but no use so I took her number in front of her and texted her with a positive response yesterday with winks and little jokes . We talked 10 minutes so I don't look needy .Now, I need to know few things and like your help , advice and suggestions. Firstly, I want to do talk more in person but as we study different course, I can only see her for 10-20 minutes max especially with her friends around giving awkward looks suppose if I ask her for a walk. Secondly, her best friend is also now a mutual friend so I can ask her too about how X feels about me on Facebook.Thirdly I have noticed today her friend was doing all talking and X spoke less. X seemed looking for words and stuttered. Plus, I was talking to another girl walking down stairs and she looked at me from ground floor and looked like puzzled or something. (maybe it's nothing to mention) The biggest problem is that culture is different and she cannot come on a date and I can meet her only at campus. plus, she is year ahead in course (I am a year older though) so her friends might give awkward looks due to she being a year ahead in course. Now, how should I proceed?I cannot call. Either Texts, meet her little in person at same time and ask her friend.what would be the best way? And how to initiate conversation on texts? Should I text her something like, '' hi, I really don't know you much and I feel you are an interesting person but I am not sure when to text you / whatsapp you. can you tell me when you be free?? or this is less manly ?Also, should I tell her I like her as I plan to meet her daily once and not again so I don't look needy. Telling her I like her in person is a good idea? (her friend be clinging) please Help!!! I really like her!!

I would not text her.
I would not worry about the grade or age difference..
if you like her and want to get to know her I would call her and ask her for coffee or something ....
