I do it cuz I like him, but if he doesn't like it I can stop it and call him by his name. How can I know, he doesn't say yes or no?He's in the air force and I call him my Warrior! I took it from a creed of the base he used to be stationed before.

Just keep calling him it every now and then when you are alone. If he knows you won't use it in front of his mates and likes it, then will respond warmly and call you something too maybe.
I call my army husband all kinds of sweet names when we are alone at home, but keep to his real name if we are out and about or with someone.
If he flinches or reacts badly then he doesn't like it. Don't take it personally - maybe he just hates pet names.
Good Luck!! xx
