reader, anonymous, writes (31 May 2009): The age old answer to that is "you'll know when it hits you" but another unfortunate possibility that is more rarely mentioned is: "you won't know till afterward when that person is gone"My advice would be, don't be so eager to slap a label on everything, and just enjoy it. In your quest to figure out what category or box to put your feelings in (or others' feelings for you), you might just get reckless and careless in that need for knowledge. Just chill and enjoy. That is the best way.
