Yet, even though he only looks at me in a not-so-special way, I', really happy just to be with him. He's caring sometimes and I can feel that there is something about him. A secret. Then one day one of my friends told him what I really feel about him. Even my friend gave only the initials he sensed it immediately and told her that it is nothing important and ignored it completely. He even told my friend that he is gay. Or maybe he was just too cool to care. But then, I always knew him. Everytime a girl that likes him makes a past at him and is being flirty, he moves away quickly to that person and never talk to that person again. He just gets mad completely that he can bare a grudge at that person. But then, when he knew my secret, he never changed. He talks to me the same way we were talking in the past. We are even cracking jokes at each other. And even though we are rivals in the class ranking, he just give his best and think about it rationally. Many even say that he's becoming more manly now. I just don't understand what this means. Can you help me? How can I get this guy to know what he really feels about me? How would I know if he likes me or not?

hi
it sounds as though he is still ok talking to you but ignores other girls when he finds out that they fancy him, because he is still very comfortable with you as a friend.
so he knows you like him. does he seem too shy to talk about going on a date or maybe he just likes you as a friend but nothing more. do you see him outside of school? ask him to go somewhere with you, even just as a friend, it may even turn into a date, or if not at least you will know how he feels
