And i need to get rid of it, i'm self-conscious about my face, as it is with all my teenage spots, freckles and everything! But this... it's REAL bad! It does have a yellow head on it, but it hurts too much to squeeze and makes it more red! How can i get rid of this thing? please help xx

Try not to put foundation on it too much as it'll clog your pores up even more. I used to suffer with acne BAD in my teens and I've had it come and go through my pregnancy due to hormones. I was given a little tip for the big, red horrible spots and that is to dab a bit of toothpaste on the spot and leave it on there for a few hours and it takes the redness out. Strangely this did work for me. Quite odd really.
I wouldn't suggest squeezing the spot as this can push some of the nasty stuff deeper in and the spot will hang round a lot longer.

1) do not touch/pick/pop for this will worsen the condition
2) wash your face twice daily (more than twice can actually worsen what you already have)
3) find a form of treatment that is right for your skin type (ex: oily/dry/sensitve)
Personally for me, i dab a bit of lemon juice on the spot and it helps dry it out and within hours it is virtually undetectable (just a warning lemon juice can sting)
I hope this helps a little, if at all!

Hello sweetheart,
Dont ever try to squeeze a spot(easier said than done, I admit) for you will only succeed in pushing the infection deeper into your skin making it more inflamed and sore. Its much better to use some tea tree oil dabbed onto the area or a little antiseptic cream made for acne.
Its important that you wash your face twice daily to help rid it of excess oils that can lead to blemishes, especially if you wear make-up. Try a product that contains a mild glycolic acid in the ingredients list and stop using it should you notice any signs of irritation. Dont forget to rinse your skin well with clean, fresh water aferwards and use a little moisturiser specially developed for young complexions. Ensure your make-up brand will not clog your skins pores. It should state that on the label and your chemist will be able to advise you on the best products for your skin type. I bet your mum will be happy to help advise you too. I promise the spot will start to fade in a few days with these simple measures.
Should you notice any signs of worsening, then you would be wise to speak with your doctor who will be able to perscribe a treatment that is best suited to you and your spot will disappear in no time.
Take care,
Skye

I was raised with a sister and most of my cousins are females.....and whenever they freaked out about something like this what they did was kinda gross but it worked. they actually took like a sewing needle popped it n immediately put a tissue on it so it wouldnt get all nasty and stuff. and after that they just made sure they didnt mess with it and just washed their faces every chance they could, like after meals and in the morning and before bed.......im not sure if this helps you at all but thats what my cousins and sister used to do, and it seemed to work.....good luck
