To get over someone, you have to seriously want to and make yourself do it. If you don't, then it will never happen. I have a friend who still can't get over her ex two years after breaking up for the simple reason is that she never realy wanted to get over him. I won't lie and tell you its easy, and that you'll immediatly stop having feelings for him, because thats not how it works. It will take time. Just keep telling yourself why your best off without him and why the boyfriend you have now is so much better.

Here is what worked for me.
I kept Busy (Talking with other mates, going to the gym more often, playing videos games which I do often etc..) which kept my mind off of the pain.
Also, Believe it or not I truly believe that time does heal most wounds.
I know it might be a little vague but what you're feeling now will go away. Keep your chin up
